Andrew
Frisardi is the translator
and editor of two books of poetry: Giuseppe Ungaretti: Selected Poems (Farrar,
Straus & Giroux, 2002); and Air and Memory, by Franco Loi (Counterpath
Press, 2007). His poems, translations, articles, and reviews have appeared
in The Atlantic Monthly, Hudson Review, Kenyon Review,
New Criterion, The New Republic, The New Yorker, Poetry,
and other publications. A native of Boston, he has been living in Orvieto,
Italy, since 1999.
